2 pounds of potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch wide strips (aproximately 6 medium potatoes)
1 & 1/2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
couple pinches of cayenne pepper (optional and amount depending on HOW spicy ya want these)
1/2 teaspoon dried basil

In a large bowl, mix the olive oil and all the spices together. Then add the cut up potatoes and toss them to coat them.

Bake for 30 minutes, and toss them occasionally until they are golden brown.

Season with salt, and serve right away.

Homemade French Fries, yum!

While not the healthiest of foods lol, why not have some homemade french fries once in a while?? Made from fresh potatoes, and often not being deep fried, they can be a healthier alternative to the fries you can get at fast food restaurants. Bake and broil your own homemade fries.
